Hand Crafted Ale, Lager, and Pizza
Northwoods Brewing Company is a nano-brewery in Northwood, NH that opened at the tail end of 2018 focusing on hoppy ales, alternative fermentations, farmhouse beers, and bakery inspired dark ales. Sharing seating with the Rise & Shine Bakery Cafe, we offer full pints and pizza made almost entirely with locally sourced ingredients on dough made with an 8 year old sourdough culture. Beer should take you somewhere, we’ll be along for the ride.

Tippet – 4.5% ABV
With almost 30% rolled oats and red wheat in the grain bill, this soft-bodied Blonde Session Ale is a little different than most. Tossing some OG German hops in the whirlpool, lending some classic floral and spicy notes. We also lightly dry hop this beer with Mosaic to layer some new world flavors of berry and tropical fruit. Fermented with a Maine native yeast that screams stone fruit, this beer is soft, refreshing, and in a category all its own.
DDH IPA – 6% ABV
This double dry hopped IPA is built upon base malt, oats, and wheat with Amarillo, Mosaic, and Centennial in the whirlpool. Fermented with a native Maine yeast, and showcasesheavy dry hop additions of Amarillo and Mosaic. The stone fruit character of the yeast blends with the tropical, citrusy hop flavors for a bold, yet nuanced flavor profile.
Crate Engine Kolsch- Kolsch Ale 5.2% ABV
A classic German-style ale, Kolsch is a crisp, refreshing ale with low yeast character.
Coffee Porter – (contains Lactose) 4.7% ABV
Kveik-fermented porter with lactose aged on one pound per barrel coffee beans. Full bodied and coffee-forward with a smooth finish.
Streamer –Kveik IPA 6.7% ABV
Juggernaut Kveik-fermented IPA with pale malt, biscuit, rye, and flaked oats. Cascade and Comet in the whirlpool, then dry hopped with Azacca and Amarillo.
Pineapple Koosh– Dry Hop Sour 4.20% ABV
Collaboration with our great friends at WHYM Craft Beer Cafe, Koosh is a dry hopped quick sour using the MTF Quick Sour Blend (4 Kveik strains with bacteria, 2 strains of Lacto). Dry hopped with Ella, Mandarina Bavaria, Amarillo and Nelson Sauvin. No pineapples were hurt in the creation of this beer.
12 Rainbow Trout – Fruit IPA 6.7% ABV
A collaboration with our friends from Mainiacal Yeast and Sidereal Farm Brewery. Starting as an IPA with organic Mosaic and organic Citra and Citra/Mosaic lupulin powder. After fermentation with the Juggernaut Kveik blend, it is then conditioned on 176 pounds of raspberry puree.
Lucilla– American Blonde Ale 4% ABV
Kveik-fermented blonde ale with Mandarina Bavaria, hibiscus, and butterfly pea flower. Refreshing, floral, and lightly fruity, she’s both an eye catcher and a crowd pleaser!
Landlocks & Brookies – Kveik Pale Ale 5% ABV
A hazy pale ale fermented with the Juggernaut Kviek blend from Mainiacal Yeast Labs. Notes of peach rings, mango, pineapple, lime, and a little earthy spice in the finish.
Fork Knife–Belgian Table Beer 4.2% ABV
Designed to be a refreshing, flavorful, and food friendly beer, Fork Knife is brewed with Bohemian Pilsner malt, German hops, Belgian Candi Sugar, Abbey ale yeast, and water from our well. Notes of pepper, clove, fresh dough, and hints of bubblegum and banana.
Glory to the Hypnotoad*– IPA 6.2% ABV
Based on an upcoming beer from Sidereal Farm, Hypnotoad is a hop-forward, Kveik-fermented IPA. Citra in the whirlpool, then dry hopped with Mosaic and Citra lupulin powder, and Galaxy hop pellets.
Mac & Margie* – Double IPA 7.8% ABV
Based on our popular DDH recipe, and dedicated to our friends and family who inspired our love for the outdoors, Mac & Margie is a New England style Double IPA brimming with flavors of candied citrus peel and apricots.
